The idea for this game came about when we were teaching our younger daughter to identify various objects and speak out their names. Needless to say, this is a big hit. We still need to sit with her but this is more fun for her and has helped reinforce many concepts.https://youtu.be/wbkj2BmgDHk
This game speaks out the names of various objects to toddlers when they touch the corresponding image on the screen. This will help reinforce the name of that particular object. We call this the Learning Mode. Once the toddlers are comfortable with a category (there are lots of categories), parents can choose to turn the speech off. They can then ask the toddler to touch the specific object which they have named. This is the Play mode.
The categories range across various subjects. There are 10 objects within each category, so that toddlers are not overwhelmed. More categories will be added in the future.
The game uses Google Text to Speech. Most phones come with this pre-installed - even if that's not the case, it is easy to install. Google TTS takes some time to get ready to speak - this may take up to 10 seconds, depending on your device. So we appreciate your patience.
